A Church for Ripley, TN
No matter who you are or where you’re from—single, married, divorced, rich, poor, young, old, tattooed, pierced, searching, doubting, or just here because grandma said so—you are welcome here.Whether you sing like a star or not at all, whether you’re a lifelong Christian or are afraid the church will fall in if you enter, this is a place for you.If you’re struggling, celebrating, questioning, or simply in need of a little grace, we invite you to meet Jesus here, because He changes everything—and everyone is invited to experience that. Welcome home!
What should I expect?
Our service lasts about an hour, and people dress in a variety of ways – whether in jeans or a suit, you’ll feel right at home. During the service, we sing a mix of contemporary songs and classic hymns, read a psalm and prayers together, and listen to a Bible passage that is explained in the sermon. Our pastor typically preaches through books of the Bible, building each week on the previous. We also take time to recite our shared beliefs, pray, and collect an offering (please don’t feel obligated to give if you’re visiting – this is for members). Every Sunday, we celebrate the Lord’s Supper. All Christians who are members of a church are welcome to join us in this special observance.
